Can We Save The Earth By Going Green?
Tuesday, 10 May 2011
Will We Be Able to Save The Planet With A Greener Way Of Life?
Is there truth to the rumors that our earth is fated to die? Does a conspiracy exist or are natural resources becoming dangerously exhausted? Is the answer for us all to begin living a greener lifestyle? With the absence of full wellness and the climbing cost of healthcare, is it time to return to natural ways to save lives? The next generation should learn about how to live greener to help the planet.

Previous generations grew their own food and reveled in maintaining their gardens. The joy of the garden, witnessing it flower and producing fruits and vegetables is something many children do not experience. How many kids even realize that a green plant takes carbon dioxide out of the air and creates oxygen? Our bodies and health rely on healthy eating, unpolluted air and fresh drinking water. The health of our earth may rely on a return to an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

A lot of the advancements in technology have made life better, but at what expense? People are living longer, but are they living better? Medical advancements have eliminated certain diseases, but have they added health troubles that now plague our planet? The earth's health can be made better and we can enjoy better lives if we move towards earth friendly lifestyles. Kids, who are our future, must learn why greener lifestyles are crucial.

Our air is full of pollution as a result of using traditional fossil fuels, so the need for solar and wind powered energy is there. Society should quit waiting until there is a definite need to change. Are there people who are ready to witness the demise of our earth? Why else would we sit by and watch the world destoryed in this manner? At what point is the air too contaminated, and the water excessively impure, and the food sources overly polluted that things cannot be swung around.

Material commodities appear to mean more to people than some of the traditional values we used to have. Making money must not be the motive when considering the wellness of a human being. We can all help by realizing what the planet needs to better the lives of the people.

The importance of profits may need to be given less emphasis when viewing answers such as wind and solar energy. How we educate our youth may set the way they live to become more healthy and grow up to a greener way of living. For the sake of our kids, we need to realize what we need to do, so that they have a future on this earth. All of us are answerable, so the switch to a greener lifestyle has to begin right now.
